Today was devoted almost entirely to watching the Super Bowl coverage and checking out all the commercials. The pregame show was awesome, as well as the halftime with the Stones. The game was actually pretty uneventful in the first half and I was afraid that it was going to be a snoozer. The second half was definitely worth sticking around for, as Pittsburgh pulled it out. It was so cool to see Jerome Bettis win at home, and for Bill Cower to get the trophy after so many years with the Steelers.
The commercials were great too! My favorites were the Diet Pepsi one with Jackie Chan, and the FedEx commercial with the cavemen. The Budweiser commercial was pretty good too, with the baby horse trying to pull the big Budweiser wagon.
I have been completely lazy today, endulging myself in football and snacking. I had a big cheat day today from the diet, but tomorrow it's back to the gym and away from the poppers and cheese sticks. Hey...it was a holiday...but back to being a good girl tomorrow.
