Have you ever been in the company of someone who completely controls the conversation or situation? I recently was out with a group of people, and one person in particular, completely controlled all topics of conversation...specifically steering it back to himself, his accomplishments, his knowledge. I don't know about you guys, but for me part of the enjoyment of being with a group of people is enjoying everyone's contribution to conversations. When one person is not interested enough in anyone but themself, and doesn't ask another person how they are doing, or what they've been up to, etc....but completely brags on themself it's a very boring and monotonous outing. I believe that everyone in life, even people you are not particularly fond of, have something to teach you...something to offer. By being so short sided thinking you are the only one of value is a bit too condecending to me.
