It's kind of slow here tonight so we have American Idol on in the parlor. It got me thinking...it really is a circus. The first five or six shows are the preliminaries to weed out the good from the bad and the really bad. It's kind of sad to me that we make fun of the people who are really trying their best to sing, and obviously can't. I guess they do put themselves out there when they audition, but I don't think they should air the ones that are really horrible so the whole nation can make fun of them. Tonight there were a few that were really scary and the whole parlor was busting out laughing. What do you guys think? Is someone else's embarassment something to put out for everyone's enjoyment? Am I taking this too seriously? I'd love to know what you think.
