I've never been a huge fan of classical music, but I did appreciate the voice and talent of Pavarotti. It was sad to know that he passed away after his battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a true genius and the world will miss his voice. He will live on through his recordings and the impact he had on millions around the world.

On a similar note, I also lost my grandfather this past weekend. He had suffered with Parkinson's disease for many years and finally let go and moved on. I was very sad to lose him, but glad that he is no longer suffering and in pain.

So my heart and well wishes go out to my family and to the families of others who have recently lost a loved one.
