The start of a new month...my how this year is flying by. Did you all have a good Halloween? Anyone go to or throw any exciting parties? I stayed in last night, handing out candy to trick or treaters. After cleaning my new house yesterday I was too tired to go out for parties. I got myself a nice bottle of wine, made myself some snacks and just relaxed. Trick or treaters were done by around 8p, and the rest of the evening was spent on the sofa watching the NBA games.

This morning the landscape company is coming to clean up the leaves and put some mulch down. I want to get the yard cleaned up, because it won't be long until it's time to start putting decorations out for Christmas. Yes...I said Christmas. It's hard to believe that it's less than two months away. The stores are already putting out decorations, cards and wrapping paper. This just serves as a reminder that I've yet to get my shopping finished. Oh well, I need to get settled in my house and then I can focus on the holidays.
