I don't know about you guys, but I'll be glad when election day finally comes around next week. I get so tired this time of year of all the political ads bashing each other. They seem to get uglier and uglier every election. It amazes me the way they choose the most unflattering picture of the candidate they are running against and then take bits and pieces of information and twist them around to say what they want. This happens with both Democrats and Republicans. Are there any honest people left in the world that want to run for public office? It's pretty scary when your elective options are bad and worse. I think there are very few people at the state and federal levels that really represent us anymore. They are only out for themselves. Congress this year is only working for 100 days and haven't accomplished anything to help the American public. What we need is honest, everyday working people in public office who are accustomed to working hard and saying what they truly believe...not a bunch of double talkers who are lazy and out for themelves.
